Now, it is time to explain what is different in Scotland compared to France! ;-)
This is a list of few things differents:
-Food: food here is hum...how to say? Not so good and expansive.
-Weather: it is not so bad as expected. The only thing is that in winter, night is here at 3:30 pm, it is difficult to get used.
-Girls: here, girls are in mini mini skirts even if the temperature is negative. It is strange when you are with your big pull, your warm coat and you see a scottish girl in short skirt and short tee shirt...but boys like that...
-Beer
and pub: beer is less expansive than in France and the atmosphere in the pubs is very good and warm.
-Lift : don't be surprise if you hear "doors closing" or "doors opening" when you tke the lift.... (The lift speaks)
-Alcohol: scottish people are drunk very early in the evening. I think that the reason is that pubs close at midnight, so people drink before midnight and leave pubs completely drunk.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and counts 453000 persons.
It is the second touristic destination of United Kingdom, just after London. This town is famous for its castle (see in the photo album).
It is the place in Scotland where you can find the cheapest kilt in touristic shop.

In Glasgow, one car out of two is a taxi. Taxi have a particular type of car just for them.
However, a lot of taxi are decorated with some advertising for any type of commerce, is can be for a market, a special company or a club...
Taxi in Glasgow are very cheap compare to France, to join the two sides of Glasgow, you would pay about 5 pounds (about 7.5 euros).
Some pictures of taxi...
