Ok, so it is time to say Goodbye and to write my last article. Erasmus is only one year.
It was a really good experience for me. I met a lot of interesting people and I know that it will be very difficult to keep in touch with everybody.
To solve this problem or try to solve I created a forum for erasmus students in Glasgow: http://erasmusglasgow.forumactif.com.

I am so sad to leave here. I had really good time. Thanks to everybody I met, I will never forget you.

I will miss you all.

I don't like to say Goodbye...

Kisses

In Glasgow, you have a lot of choice for the place when you want to drink a beer or something else. You need to know that pubs close at midnight...
I will do a short list about pubs I like in Glasgow.
  • The ark: in the street parallel to the one of the union.
  • The counting house: in Georges Square
  • Waxy o'conor: near Nelson Mandela place, the most beautiful but the most expansive.
There are my favourite but you can find a lot more.

In scotland, you have 3 main types of animals. Firstly in the country side, you don't have any field empty!!! And guess which animals are there?
Sheeps of course. From away, when you look at beautiful scottish landscapes, you can wonder: "But what are these small white points?". Sheeps!

The second type of animals that you may meet is a kind of cow. I don't know exactly the right name of this animal but I call it : the scottish cow! It looks like a cow with long hairs.

Finally, the last animal that you may find in the scottish cities are... Pigeon.

In the city center of Glasgow, you have a lot and a lot of pigeons. Two days ago, I was doing shopping (I am a girl ;-) ) and one fucking (sorry) pigeon thought that my head was his toilets!!!! Everybody understand what I mean, I don't know exactly how to explain it (if you have some idea...). And I can imagine you laughing, but it is not very funny, believe me...

Today (11/05/2005), I went to the necropolis of Glasgow. I don't know exactly which kind of people were buried in this cimetary; if they were fighting for war or famous people of Glasgow...

This necropolis is situated just near the cathedral and near the royal infirmary.
It is strange that we can think that seriously ill people went to the infirmary, then in the cathedral for their burial and finally they are buried in the necropolis...

This place is quite big and it is built on a hill, so from there we can see a big part of Glasgow.

The weather in Scotland is not as bad as its reputation!!!

Ok, perhaps it is more rainny than in certain parts of France, but it is bearable.

We had really good weeks with sun and blue sky. Regarding temperatures, winter is not very cold and summer is not very hot.

The only thing which makes you colder is wind. Glasgow is very windy because it is not so far from the sea.

In winter, the sun sets at about 3 o'clock. At the beginning it is difficult to get used to but it does not last very long, only a couple of weeks.
